Small indoor fountains can be of different shapes and sizes. We will suggest how you can easily and extremely cheaply make a small natural-looking indoor fountain in a combination of stone, water and plants.
- For a small indoor fountain, we need the following materials: a decorative container, a plastic container (reservoir), a stone, a pump, a hose, a planting substrate and a few plants.

- Place a thin layer of styrofoam or some other drainage material in a suitable decorative container. Pour potting soil on top of that, about a third of the depth of the pot.

- For the tank in which the pump will stand, you can use any waterproof container (preferably plastic). Press it into the ground, making sure that its rim is slightly higher than the final level of the soil where the plants are planted.

- Plant plants around the tank.

- Pass the hose through the hollow stone and attach the pump. For a stone about 20 cm high, the AQUA 400 pump is excellent.

- Insert the stone with the pump into the tank. To prevent the stone from falling, secure it with gravel.

- Fill the tank with water, and turn on the pump. Add water to the tank regularly, so that the pump does not run dry, which would soon break it.

You will really enjoy the indoor fountain. It will not only beautify the space you are staying in, but will also act as an air ionizer. It will moisten the air around it, collect dust from it and make it more pleasant to stay in, especially in the heating season.
